Eligibility for the course

The candidates need a minimum of 40% marks in the 12th science exam with subjects physics, chemistry, biology and/or mathematics.

For the reservation category the candidate requires a minimum of 35% aggregate marks in the PCB or PCBM.

Eligibility for admission to second year (Lateral entry)

The candidates need to complete two years of academic study and one year of clinical internship after completing diploma in optometry. The course should be recognized by the university.
